Tandridge is under severe pressure to meet its housing need. Church Walk would make a significant contribution through the provision of high quality, purpose-built and well-designed apartments.
The proposal is for 183 new apartments over four floors, including:
studio apartments (5%)
one bed apartments (55%)
3 people (13%)
They would be designed as ‘build to rent’ (BTR) properties, retained in Ropemaker’s ownership and
professionally leased/managed by a specialist BTR landlord.
The entrance to the apartments would be on Station Avenue with a 24/7 staffed concierge.
There would also be significant communal space for residents at the heart of scheme which could be a coffee lounge, office space or communal gym, depending on the selected operator’s offer.
The apartments would overlook an accessible roof terrace at first floor level above the retail and would be entirely for residents’ use.
